Bio

Sophia DiLeo is a dedicated actor, singer, and educator committed to arts advocacy and youth development. She serves as an adjunct professor of Musical Theatre Voice at the University of Delaware School of Music and as the Audience and Artist Engagement Manager at the Choir School of Delaware, where she previously served as Interim Choral Director.


She holds both a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Delaware and is the founder and artistic director of the Young Artist Program, a year-round training initiative for emerging musical theatre performers. Her directing credits include full-scale productions at The Grand Opera House, Delaware Historical Society, and Christina Cultural Arts Center, along with workshops and outreach programs in musical theatre, vocal technique, and script development.


As a performer, she has appeared live on the ABC network, performed with the Walnut Street Theatre and Delaware Theatre Company, in cabarets throughout the Philadelphia region and New York, and on various recording projects. Her work centered on expanding equitable access to the arts and uplifting diverse voices.
